Every year in the fall at harvest time we try to make it up to the Apple Hill area along highway 50. The area is famous for the many apple orchards. We usually spend most of the day going from one orchard to another to look at all the craft fair items and to buy our favorite types of apples and maybe even some apple baked goods. I found a large box of pears with one apple sitting in the middle. It made me think of the saying
